Tim O’Hara, Publisher / President
Following a successful 10-year span
working in New York City-based trade publishing for a variety of
magazines involved in the commercial insurance, chemical processing
and automotive sectors, Tim moved to Florida to help in the launch
of Credit Union Times in 1990.
As cofounder / publisher of The
Credit Union Journal, Tim once again created a successful publication.
He eventually engineered the company’s sale to Faulkner &
Gray, a division of The Thompson Corporation of Toronto.
After meeting with many credit union
“C Suite” executives, Tim knew that the time was right
for the next stage in credit union publishing: a CU-centric monthly
business magazine that provides valuable business intelligence to
CU Management. On July 1st, 2006 Tim launched Credit Union BUSINESS.

Marc A. Bringman, Editor in Chief
Marc is an author, columnist,
management consultant, editor, teacher, lecturer, and visionary leader
with cross-industry experience in product development, operations management,
information technology, project management, and publishing. As a Phi
Beta Kappa graduate of Michigan State University and while serving as
an officer in the U.S. Air Force, Bringman completed his Master’s
work at Northern Michigan University.
After nearly a decade of service
in the military, Marc entered the business environment where he held
numerous positions to include director, vice-president, or owner in
program/project management, information technology, organizational development,
product development, operations, and consulting.
With over 30 years of leadership experience,
Marc is an entrepreneurial-spirited executive with rich success in
a multitude of environments including start-ups, mergers and acquisitions,
divestitures, high growth, internal turnarounds, and engagements with
some of the nation’s largest organizations.
Marc’s primary task is putting
the BUSINESS in Credit Union BUSINESS.
